Apply to Staff – Woman Within Weekend

Thank you for your interest in staffing a Woman Within® Weekend presented by Woman Within Western USA.

The staffing fee is $200; $50 of this amount is non-refundable and due once you receive your selection notification.

Staff selection typically occurs about 60 days before each Weekend, and you will be notified of the decision approximately 45 days prior.

If you are selected to staff, you will be assigned a support role for the Weekend. Please include any concerns or restrictions in your application so we can place you appropriately.

Staffing Commitment: Thursday at 5:00 PM through Sunday at 5:00 PM.
Please note: Woman Within International policy requires all staff to arrive by 9:00 AM Friday to attend the staff meeting.

Completion of the five-hour online Staff Training is required before staffing for the first time. You are welcome to apply now even if you have not yet completed the training.

Woman Within Western USA “COVID Conscious”/”Standard” Weekend Options - January 2023(Required)

Woman Within Western USA believes in women’s safety, choice and empowerment. We aim to ensure that every woman has the resources, information and ability to choose what feels right for her. Our goal is for all women to experience what makes the Weekend, and our community, so special. We understand that there are women who need and/or want COVID prevention protocols in place, and there are women who explicitly do not want these protocols.

To that end, we will be hosting two variations of the Woman Within Weekend: “Standard” and “COVID Conscious”.

At “Standard” (No COVID precautions) Woman Within Weekends, we will only:

provide optional masks and hand sanitizer,

provide stickers that indicate your comfort level regarding physical closeness to others,

have optional COVID rapid antigen tests available in case you become symptomatic,

provide support around determining how best to isolate and/or get home,

support you in choosing any of the above.

We will not require COVID testing at “Standard” WW Weekends.

At COVID-Conscious (COVID Precautions) Woman Within Weekends, we will be implementing COVID safety measures intended to prevent the spread of COVID. All participants and staff will be required to follow these safety measures.*

At “COVID-Conscious” (COVID Precautions) Weekends, we may:

Require proof of negative COVID test within 72 hours preceding the Weekend

Require rapid antigen testing upon arrival at the Weekend site

Implement social distancing, if needed

Implement masking if a staff member or participant tests positive for COVID during the Weekend

FOR ALL OF OUR WOMAN WITHIN WEEKENDS: With choice comes responsibility. We expect that if you feel unwell or display any symptoms of illness (whether a cold, the flu, Covid,or any other potentially contagious illness), you will NOT come to the Weekend. Wherever possible, we will support you by transferring your payment to another Weekend.

If a government entity (federal, regional, or local) issues public health mandates at the time of a Weekend, we will follow these requirements.

How does the Woman Within Staffing Application process work?
Woman Within Weekend Staff are selected in Western USA following Woman Within International staffing requirements plus Western USA regional policy.
• You’ll receive notice approximately 55 days before the Weekend stating if you’ve been accepted for staffing, put on a stand-by list or advised to do other preparation before you staff.
• Requests received after the application deadline will be reviewed as needed.

As part of your commitment to staff, you must:
• Complete full payment of the $200 staff fee. The fee helps cover part of the cost of your room and board. Please note the fee must be paid prior to start of the Weekend.
• Be in ongoing personal self-care and personal inner work, beyond staffing the Woman Within Weekend®.

What are the requirements to staff?
To staff for the first time you must:
• Complete the Woman Within® Weekend in any Woman Within International region
• Complete Woman Within® Staff Training in any Woman Within International region
• You must be in good financial standing with Woman Within International and all Woman Within regions
• You must complete and submit a Staff Application
